Carmela Vinson - Office Manager

Carmela Vinson joined the Horizon Elder Law team in October 2012 as an Administrative Assistant. In April of 2013, Carmela was promoted to Office Manager. Carmela has over 25 years of experience in this field, having worked for the cities of Palo Alto and Pleasanton for 17 years, as well as, in the private sector. She uses her proficiency in all core administrative functions to compliment her organizational and communication skills to enhance the team at Horizon Elder Law. Interaction with the public has always been her passion and her commitment to providing a high standard of customer service to clients is a priority for her.

Carmela lost her mother in 2010 and as a result, cared for her 81 year old father, who unfortunately passed away a few months later. Because of this experience, she brings compassion and understanding to our clients.

Carmela continues to extend her compassion for others by actively participating in her church’s caring ministry and feeding the homeless. She has volunteered for the Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as senior centers; and assists in family events for the Danville Livery throughout the year.
